Thomas Mc Donagh
I have been involved in social justice struggles in Latin America going back almost ten years - beginning through connections to the Latin America Solidarity Centre in Dublin. Over that time, I’ve worked and volunteered with grassroots groups in Guatemala, Colombia and Bolivia. I continue to be equally saddened and inspired by the unrelenting day to day struggles for justice and dignity across the region. My path to becoming politically active was a winding one, beginning like many young Irish people, by studying our own ongoing processes of de-colonisation - including the many parallels with Latin America. I’ve been at the Center now since 2012. Personal interests include urban agriculture; permaculture; integral facilitation; yoga-meditation; modern dance & dance therapy.
